Hosted by the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce, the Summer Sampler brings the town’s best restaurants, caterers, vintners, and brewers to Farmin Park for an evening of small bites, local libations, and live music. Sample your way through the Magic City’s finest flavors, enjoy giveaways, and soak up summer in downtown Sandpoint. Admission is free — food tickets are available at the event starting at just $1 per taste.

Spotlight Event: Meridian Dairy Days

Idaho’s largest parade and one of the Treasure Valley’s most cherished traditions, Meridian Dairy Days is celebrating its 97th year. The multi-day event at Storey Park is packed with carnival rides, live music, a stock show, the annual Princess Pageant, vendor booths, family activities, and the beloved REAL Dairy Parade on Saturday morning at 11am. Proceeds support 4-H and FFA scholarships for local youth pursuing futures in agriculture. Whether you’re a longtime local or brand new to the Valley, Dairy Days is a Meridian summer must.

Spotlight Event: America’s Big 250th Birthday Bash

Twin Falls is going all out to mark America’s 250th birthday with a special celebration at the Twin Falls Visitor Center. Join America250 TFC for a once-in-a-generation community event honoring the nation’s semiquincentennial. A perfect excuse to gather with neighbors, celebrate local pride, and be part of history in the Magic Valley.

Spotlight Event: Sawtooth Valley Gathering
June 18th – 21st, 2026 | Stanley, ID (Idaho Hwy 21)
If you’ve never spent a summer night under the Sawtooth stars with live music echoing off the mountains, this is your year. The 11th annual Sawtooth Valley Gathering is a four-day family-friendly festival featuring over 40 bands spanning country and folk, plus songwriting workshops, yoga, disc golf, fly fishing, rafting, and access to Idaho’s famous hot springs. Camp in one of the most spectacular settings in the Rocky Mountains while enjoying a lineup that draws music lovers from across the region.
Eastern Idaho
Spotlight Event: Idaho Regatta
June 26th – 28th, 2026 | Rivers Edge Golf Course Marina/Park, Burley, ID
The Northwest’s fastest and most prestigious flatbottom boat race is back on the Snake River. The Idaho Regatta draws competitors from across the country to race Circle Sprint Boats at speeds topping 120 mph across a 1.25-mile course — with a buoyed island in the center that keeps spectators guessing right up until the boats reappear in the lead. Ten boat classes compete over the weekend, from Junior Hydroplanes to Grand National Endurance. Kick things off Thursday evening with the show-and-shine, catch the boat parade Friday morning, then settle in for a full day of racing Saturday and Sunday from 10am–6pm. Food vendors, event T-shirts, and plenty of Snake River scenery round out the experience. Free to spectate from the front straightaway.
